E-Book (PDF) End-User License Agreement

1. Grant of License          

RC Hill Publishing grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the PDF version of the Home Based Business Owners Manual, herein referred to as the “PDF file”, according to the terms and conditions herein. This License Agreement permits you to install the PDF file for your use only.

 

2. Restrictions

You shall not: (1) resell, rent, assign, timeshare, distribute, or transfer all or part of the PDF file or any rights granted hereunder to any other person; (2) duplicate the PDF file, except for a single backup or archival copy; (3) remove any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the PDF file; (4) transfer or sublicense title to the PDF file to any other party.

 

3. Intellectual Property Protection

The PDF file is provided by RC Hill Publishing and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws. RC Hill Publishing reserves all rights in the PDF file not expressly granted herein. This license and your right to use the PDF file terminate automatically if you violate any part of this Agreement. In the event of termination, you must destroy the original and all copies of the PDF file.

 

4. Limited Warranty

RC Hill Publishing warrants that the PDF file, a copy of which if you are authorized to use are free from defects in the operational sense that they can be read by a PDF Reader. Except for this express limited warranty, RC Hill Publishing, makes and you receive no warranties, express, implied, statutory or in any communication with you, and RC Hill Publishing specifically disclaims and other warranty including the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness or a particular purpose. RC Hill Publishing does not warrant that the operation of the PDF file will be error free.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

In not event will RC Hill Publishing be liable for any damages, whether rising for tort or contract, including loss of data, lost profits, or other special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use the PDF file.

 

6. General

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and RC Hill Publishing and supersedes any prior agreement concerning the PDF file. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri without reference to conflicts of laws provisions.

 

 

An e-book is unlike a paper book where the owner gives up physical custody and the use of the book when it is loaned, sold, donated or given away.
